Who I am

I'm Axel Gentils, also known as Mr.Nice. A technical lead and AV technician, specialised in high-end installations, digital signage and immersive systems. I also handle helpdesk, network and IT tooling, and I bring a web side to document, automate and share. People call me for five-legged sheep too.

My approach

Keep it simple first. An LED wall or a website does not need twenty-two badly glued pieces of software to hold up. I favour sober, maintainable, durable solutions — the ones that still work in five years, even after handover.

What matters

• Sobriety: fewer elements, better chosen.
• Performance: fast by default, not by late optimisation.
• Autonomy: own your stack instead of enduring it.
• Clarity: systems and interfaces that explain themselves.

Background

A path mixing digital AV studies, a post-production apprenticeship, and several years at Showson as project engineer then technical lead. From events to high-end retail, in France and abroad.
