Mr.Nice
Axel Gentils
Aka Mr.Nice. Versatile technical lead: professional audiovisual, IT and networking, web development. Based in Rouen, Normandy, working across France and internationally.
Available right now, open to any proposal: full-time role, freelance, one-off assignment or technical audit. Pick one — not all four at once.
What I do
AV & digital signage
Interactive scenography, detection systems (object, virtual line, presence), digital signage estates of over 100 retail locations and content deployment on an international scale.
IT & networking
Server, NAS, VPN and telephony administration. Ran a company's entire IT and network single-handedly, end to end.
Web development
HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Astro, Python, Java, among others. Sites and internal tools built to stay easy to maintain.
The common thread across all three: understand the need, simplify the solution, and document enough that no system depends on a single person to keep running.
